This is my first time
Man,
so here I am, blogging at last. As with so many other things, I have simply let technology catch up to me, rather than being the one taking advantage of things emergent. I suppose that’s a little-unintentionally-conservative. What to talk about, now that I have some sort of blog set up? I’m not really sure at this point. Hopefully, something that will make the reader interesting. What makes a life interesting-enough to blog about, enough to get others to read the blog?
Well, you know, I think the answer to that is quite simple. The story is really in the telling. Anything can be of great interest, sublime or simple, if it is expressed in the proper manner. That is what I intend to do. More than jazzy graphics or art-house commentary, I want to write things worth reading. It’s that simple.
You could ask (I know I have), what makes great literature? I’ve seen so many people agonize over this, and I think the anwer is easy-so easy that many never arrive at it-the truth is, great literature is determined by the story it concerns. Is is a good story, or not? See-that was easy enough wasn’t it?
